Beach Renourishment Project

Equipment for the next scheduled maintenance dredging is now set up in the Dolphin Street parking lot at Main Beach. The beach renourishment project began in 2017 but ended before completion due to sea turtle season. The dredging will begin again in December and will last approximately three months. The beach will remain open to residents and visitors outside the work areas, with piping being buried as much as possible. The Dolphin Street parking lot will be closed until cleared of equipment.
