Atlantic Park
2500 Atlantic Avenue
Joe Velardi Field: Located behind the Atlantic Recreation Center, this is a softball/baseball practice field with covered dugouts. No lights. Restrooms are adjacent to the field, near Pirate Playground and the entrance to the Egans Creek Greenway. Parking available. To reserve the field, please call 904-310-3350.
Buccaneer Fields
1201 Beech Street
Located behind Central Park, this sports complex has a baseball/football/lacrosse field and 3 additional baseball fields. All baseball fields have covered dugouts, and all fields have LED sports lighting. 3 batting tunnels, a concessions/restrooms building, and shaded concessions area are adjacent to the baseball fields. A field house/concessions building, separate restrooms building, and pavilion are adjacent to the football field. Parking available. The Buccaneer Fields complex is the home of Fernandina Beach Babe Ruth League and Fernandina Beach Football Association.
Central Park

Central Park Tennis Courts: 4 hard-surface lighted tennis courts are available for public use at Central Park. Courts 1 & 2 are the designated teaching courts for Rod Gibson Tennis Services, the City’s contracted tennis instructor. Parking available. NOTE: Courts are lighted in the evenings until 10:00pm.
Central Park Pickleball Courts: 6 hard-surface lighted pickleball courts are available for public use at Central Park. Open the "Pickleball" link on the Parks & Recreation home page for reserved group play hours. Parking available. NOTE: Courts are lighted in the evenings until 10:00pm.
Central Park Petanque Courts: 4 petanque courts are available for public use on the west side of Central Park, adjacent to the Veterans Memorial. Parking available.
Charles Eugene Richo Field
516 South 10th Street
Charles Eugene Richo Field has a baseball/softball practice field as well as open green space for multi-purpose use. 2 soccer goals (4.5’ x 9’) are located on the field. Restrooms are available at the Peck Community Center (adjacent to the field) Monday-Friday during normal business hours (8:00am-5:00pm). Parking available.
Main Beach Park + Fernandina Beach Skate Park

(2) sand volleyball courts are located on the beach at Main Beach Park. Restrooms and parking available.
The Main Beach Multi-Purpose Court, located on Tarpon Avenue, has 4 basketball goals, and the court’s surface is marked for inline hockey, with 2 portable hockey goals at each end of the court (for reserved times for inline hockey, please open the "Sports" link on the Parks & Recreation home page). Restrooms and parking available.
Adjacent to Main Beach Park, the Skate Park has a variety of ramps and obstacles for skateboarders and inline skaters. The park is open to the public (helmets required; skate at your own risk). Restrooms are available at Main Beach Park. Parking available.
Hickory Street Park

Hickory Street Park, located across the street from the Fernandina Beach High School baseball and softball fields, has 2 multi-purpose fields (Multi-Purpose Field East and Multi-Purpose Field West) that may be used for soccer, lacrosse, flag football, ultimate frisbee, etc., with (2) 6.5’ x 12’ soccer goals, (4) 8’ x 24’ soccer goals, and (2) lacrosse goals. Parking available. To reserve a field, please call 904-310-3350.
MLK, Jr. Park

Charles Albert Field: This is a lighted softball/baseball field with covered dugouts and bleachers. A concessions building, restrooms, 3 pavilions, batting tunnel, and covered playground are adjacent to the field, as well as the MLK, Jr. Practice Field (softball and baseball). Parking available. Charles Albert Field is the home of Elm Street Little League Girls’ Fastpitch Softball.
MLK, Jr. Basketball Court: Located behind the MLK, Jr. Recreation Center and to the west of Charles Albert Field, this is a lighted outdoor basketball court. The court is lighted nightly until 9:30pm.
Ybor Alvarez Sports Complex (Fernandina Beach Athletic Complex)

Ybor Alvarez Softball Fields: 3 lighted adult softball fields, with covered dugouts, are available for public use (for reservations, please call 904-310-3350). A protective pitching screen is located on each of these fields. 1 youth softball/baseball practice field (not lighted) is also available. A restrooms building is adjacent to the fields but is only opened during City adult leagues activities or for rentals of fields.
Soccer Fields: Open green space is utilized at the Ybor Alvarez Complex for soccer activities, with 2 adult-sized areas that are lighted with LED sports lighting. A soccer rebound wall, concessions building with restrooms (only opened during youth soccer leagues’ activities), and shaded concessions area are also located in this area of the park. The Ybor Alvarez Sports Complex is the home of Amelia Island Youth Soccer Club.
